Content Marketing Manager – Brand

Our client, a consumer healthcare company is looking for a Content Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive business impact by leading the development and management of a content strategy and distribution system to maximize performance and conversion for paid, owned and earned media channels
  • Identify new content opportunities and create high performing content that leverage key consumer insights, customer journey application, channel best practices, content audit, and content gap analysis
  • Manage a content pipeline and forecast through the analysis and evaluation of programs and strategies to determine current and future performance and effectiveness
  • Develop and lead new approach in developing more scalable and integrated content for a variety of channels and funnel-building objectives
  • Drive new leads through website SEO content strategy, creation and evaluation to capture organic growth
  • Conduct research, tracking industry trends and identifying best-in-class content examples to inspire and drive incremental business growth
  • Apply an analytical and performance mindset in the development and evaluation of content to deliver measurable results in demand generation and pipeline creation
  • Collaborate with channel managers as well as creative agency partner/freelancers in providing high-quality content, including management and evaluation
  • Collaborate with internal creative services to develop and manage content, compliance and brand standards
  • Manage internal content development and review process to stay on deadline
  • Report on social KPIs, and make recommendations based on target audience demographics and insights
  • Support “earned” media (PR, social, blogs, influencer, reviews, etc.) content development in a measurable way that drives business impact
  • Develop content for internal and external audiences, including staff communications and B2B outreach
  • Work closely with Brand and Legal to maintain a positive reputation across all social channels
  • Collaborate with Brand, Digital, and Web teams on overall strategy and content for ongoing

  • Serve as an expert resource for brand voice
  • Ability to write assignment briefs that guide internal projects and external resources in creating successful content
  • Ability to manage a diverse set of tasks, prioritize workload, and deliver results against deadlines in a fast-paced environment — strong project management
  • Experience developing and/or managing a content strategy and content distribution system
  • Experience developing and managing content-related project plans
  • Experience copywriting for a wide variety of online and offline channels, with emphasis in digital formats

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 4-6 years in copywriting, marketing content development, and/or brand messaging for consumer audiences (or a combination of B2C and B2B audiences)
  • Exceptional copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills are a must
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-starter who can work independently and collaborate in a team environment
